Simon is a highly motivated and conscientious professional who works well alone as well as with others. He is an experienced teacher and school leader with 30 years working with young people and education. This includes 12 years as an Assistant Head teacher and 4 years as an Assistant Head of School in West London.  Here, he was able to contribute largely, in particular with the Behaviour Management and Restorative Justice approaches, to the ‘Beyond Outstanding’ judgements from their latest Ofsted Inspection. Ofsted were particularly impressed with the Restorative Approaches that were developed within the school. 

He is an innovative, dynamic and highly energetic educational consultant with a proven ability to motivate people and achieve results. His aim is to provide motivational and effective training for teachers and schools on a range of areas. He currently provides support for schools in and around Birmingham, Cardiff and London in a variety of areas including Safeguarding, Behaviour management, Restorative Justice, Child Protection and working with children in care. 

 

Senior Leadership Experience:

As a senior member of staff, he has experienced a wide range of different responsibilities.

 

His roles have been varied and exciting. In recent years his responsibilities have included:

Whole school behaviour; Safeguarding; Child Protection; SENCO;

Line management of an onsite alternative provision;

Line management of ASD and SPLD centres;

Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme; Pastoral Management of whole school;

London Gold School’s representative and conference presenter at the QE2 Conference Centre on Restorative Justice Approaches and behaviour management.

 

Simon delivers whole or part day training as well as training over a number of days that allows him to support teachers and schools in their work to embed practices. He can provide a range of training experiences including bespoke training for individual teachers or groups of staff.
