Lucy has been School Improvement Facilitator for Modern Foreign Languages at the Priory School since 2007, having previously worked as Deputy Director of a Language College in Essex. Languages GCSE take up and results at the Priory are consistently well above the national average. She currently teaches French to GCSE level and has experience of teaching both French and Italian up to A Level.
Lucy has lots of experience in collaborative work and sharing innovative practice through “Strategic Learning Networks”, “Linked Up” projects and “Leading Edge” work. She is passionate about cross curricular work and has worked on several projects to promote languages through other subject areas. She has vast experience in organising and leading school trips and exchanges abroad. She has also facilitated the Improving Teacher programme delivered as part of the Priory Teaching School status.
