Mathematics in Science Teaching – Maths language and Skills for GCSE Science Secondary

There is an increased mathematical demand in science and a greater understanding is necessary to accelerate learning and raise attainment.  This course will explore the typical weaknesses in mathematics that hinder students' ability to understand and solve scientific problems. It will give teachers an increased confidence in teaching the mathematical aspects of science and the skills and strategies to meet these requirements.

Course Dates two twilight sessions: Tuesday 9th May 2017 from 9 - 3 pm

Cost: £195 + VAT (state-funded school or college), £250 + VAT (independent/fee paying school or college)

Venue: The Priory School
